Ranchi, April 8 -- Ranchi Mayor Roshni Khalkho and Deputy Mayor Neeraj Kumar on Wednesday inspected the Seva Sadan Path-Bada Talab area, which faces recurring waterlogging during the monsoon, and directed officials to take prompt remedial measures.
The inspection was carried out following a request by the Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries, which raised concern over persistent water accumulation in the area during the rainy season.
According to those present during the visit, local residents and traders told the civic authorities that waterlogging in the area disrupts movement and affects daily life as well as business activity during heavy rainfall.
