Lucknow, Jan. 20 -- Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on X expressed serious concern over the steadily declining working hours of Parliament and State Legislatures, attributing it to frequent disruptions, uproar, and adjournments, which she said are weakening their public utility and democratic role.
Referring to the ongoing three-day 86th All India Presiding Officers' Conference in Lucknow, Mayawati on Tuesday said it was appropriate, timely, and commendable that concern has been raised over the shrinking duration of legislative proceedings.
