Lucknow, Oct. 7 -- In a significant political move ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati is set to publicly launch her nephew, Akash Anand, at a massive rally in Lucknow on October 9, the death anniversary of party founder Kanshi Ram.
This is the first time Akash Anand will share the dais with Mayawati to address the party's core cadre, marking his formal introduction as the party's future face.
The state-level event, being held at the Kanshi Ram Memorial, is expected to draw over five lakh BSP workers from across Uttar Pradesh.
