Lucknow, Feb. 9 -- Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Monday expressed dissatisfaction over the Governor's address that marked the beginning of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly's budget session, saying it failed to reflect the ground realities faced by people across the state.

In a statement, Mayawati said that while the budget session traditionally begins with the Governor's address to the joint sitting of the legislature, this year's speech lacked sincerity and enthusiasm, and did not adequately focus on real issues of development and the welfare of all sections of society.
