Lucknow, March 22 -- Mayawati, the national president of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), chaired a long review meeting in Lucknow on Sunday with senior office-bearers and state unit members from Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Chhattisgarh. The meeting focused on strengthening the party organisation, expanding its mass base, and mobilising financial support in these states.

The review was conducted in line with the directions issued during the party's All India meeting held on February 22. Based on feedback from senior leaders, including sector in-charge Rajaram, the BSP chief expressed satisfaction over the "moderate progress" made by the three state units in implementing organizational directives.
