Lucknow, Dec. 19 -- Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) National President, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati on Friday directed all state units of the party to treat the Election Commission's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls with utmost seriousness and ensure its timely completion.
Addressing an All India meeting of the party at the BSP Central Office here (excluding Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand), Mayawati said that, if required, previously issued organisational guidelines may be temporarily put on hold for a few days so that party workers can fully focus on the voter list revision process.
