Lucknow, Oct. 12 -- Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national president and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati has expressed deep sorrow and outrage over the alleged assault of a 16-year-old Dalit schoolgirl in Lucknow's Banthra area.
In a strongly worded post on social media platform X today, Mayawati called the incident "deeply painful and shameful" and demanded immediate and effective action from the state government.
