Lucknow, March 30 -- Mayawati, the national president of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), today criticized both the Indian National Congress and the Samajwadi Party over the development of the Noida International Airport in Jewar.
In a statement shared on social media, she said that if the Congress-led central government at the time had not created obstacles, the airport project would have been completed during her tenure as Chief Minister, much like the Yamuna Expressway.
Mayawati stated that not only was the blueprint for the airport prepared during her government, but all essential groundwork had also begun under her leadership. She said that after a long wait, the first phase of the airport has now been inaugurated.
