Lucknow, March 2 -- In a surprise move, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Sunday removed her nephew Akash Anand from all party posts, including the National Coordinator.

During an all-India meeting of the party office-bearers, while appointing her younger brother Anand Kumar, who is also the Vice-President of the party, as the National Coordinator, Mayawati announced that she will not have any successor in the party as long as she is alive.

Along with Anand, she appointed MP Ramji Suman as the second National Coordinator of the party. She also expelled Akash's father-in-law Ashok Siddharth from the party on charges of indulging in anti-party activities.
