Amaravati, March 6 -- The maximum temperatures are likely to be above normal by 2 to 4 degrees celsius in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next five days, Meteorological Centre said on Thursday.

In a daily weather report here, it said that dry weather is likely to prevail in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next seven days.

The highest maximum temperature of 39.5 degrees Celsius was recorded at Nandyal in Rayalaseema on Wednesday, the report added. UNI VV CS
