Shillong, March 21 -- United Democratic Party (UDP) candidate Jemino Mawthoh and Independent candidate Samuel Hahshah on Wednesday filed their nominations from Shillong Parliamentary seat for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls slated for April 11.
Talking to reporters after filing his nominations, Mawthoh hit out at the Congress for branding the regional party as being of the BJP.
Mawthoh also alleged that the BJP and Congress are same on the issues related to citizenship bill and cow slaughter.
