Nahan, June 23 -- A Maths teacher posted at PM Shri Adarsh Senior Secondary School in Rajgarh block has been taken into police custody after 25 girl students filed written complaints accusing him of molestation and inappropriate behavior.
Confirming the development, Superintendent of Police (SP) Sirmaur, NS Negi, told media persons, "An FIR has been registered against the teacher, identified as Rakesh, under relevant sections of the IPC. Preliminary investigation has begun and statements of all 25 complainants are being recorded."
According to police sources, the students alleged that the teacher frequently used objectionable language during class and made them feel unsafe through inappropriate gestures.
