Buenos Aires, April 28 -- Teenage prodigy Franco Mastantuono scored with a superb free-kick as River Plate secured a 2-1 home win over rival Boca Juniors in Argentina's Primera Division Apertura tournament.
Mastantuono, 17, struck for the second time in as many matches with a fizzing 30-yard effort from a set piece that left goalkeeper Agustin Marchesin with no chance on Sunday.
The visitors equalized through Miguel Merentiel, who ran onto Lautaro Blanco's lofted through ball before calmly slotting his shot into the far corner.
River restored its lead when Sebastian Driussi poked home from close range after his initial header was kept out by Marchesin.
