New Delhi, Feb. 20 -- Aam Aadmi Party's Kuldeep Kumar on Tuesday validly elected as the Mayor of Chandigarh Municipal Corporation following the Supreme Court's decision to uphold eight votes that were rejected by the presiding officer.
Addressing the media, Aam Aadmi Party convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal extended gratitude to the Supreme Court for its decision on Chandigarh Mayor elections stating, "Truth may be troubled but not defeated. The Constitution and democracy ultimately won the Chandigarh Mayor election."
