Amethi, Dec. 23 -- A major road accident occurred on Tuesday morning on the Lucknow-Varanasi highway in Amethi district, involving four trucks, a Janrath bus, and a car.
The collision resulted in the death of two truck drivers and left 16 passengers injured.
The accident took place near Mangalam School in the Musafirkhana area. According to Circle Officer Atul Singh, dense fog was the primary cause of the incident. Due to poor visibility, a truck first climbed onto the divider.
A second truck coming from behind rammed into it, followed by another truck colliding with the already damaged vehicles. Subsequently, a fourth truck, a Janrath bus, and a car also crashed into the wreckage.
