Chandigarh, Dec. 27 -- The final day of the Shaheedi Sabha at Fatehgarh Sahib witnessed an overwhelming turnout on Saturday, as lakhs of devotees gathered to pay homage to the supreme sacrifice of the younger sons of Guru Gobind Singh.
A grand Nagar Kirtan was taken out from the historic site associated with the martyrdom of the Sahibzadas, drawing large crowds from across Punjab and other parts of the country.
The religious procession began early in the morning from the sacred place where Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh were hanged on the orders of Sirhind's then-governor, Wazir Khan. The Nagar Kirtan, marked by deep devotion and discipline, is scheduled to culminate at Gurdwara Sri Jyoti Saroop Sahib by noon.
