Ranchi, Dec. 27 -- A massive fire broke out late last night at a hardware shop near Argora Chowk in Jharkhand's capital Ranchi, causing losses estimated to be worth several lakhs of rupees.
According to officials and eyewitnesses, the fire erupted at Satyam Hardware, which was completely gutted in the incident. Thick smoke was first noticed rising from the shop, followed shortly by towering flames that rapidly engulfed the entire premises, triggering panic in the surrounding area.
