Mathura, Oct. 20 -- A private sleeper bus traveling from Gurugram to Hamirpur caught fire near the Refinery police station area on the Agra-Delhi National Highway early today, leaving the bus totally gutted, police sources said.
Miraculously, all 50-60 passengers managed to escape by jumping off the moving vehicle, leaving three people injured due to the fire.
According to eyewitnesses, the fire spread rapidly, turning the bus into a fireball within minutes. Only the metal frame of the vehicle remained after the flames were extinguished.
The injured passengers, identified as Mohammad Javid (45), his wife Quresa (43), and their child, were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. The family was reportedly traveling to Jalaun to celebrate...
