Chandigarh, Nov. 15 -- Faridabad authorities have launched an extensive security operation after the Delhi blast probe pointed investigators toward the region.

Police teams on Saturday carried out coordinated checks at multiple mosques, verifying the identity of imams and questioning residents living nearby.

Officers also undertook door-to-door searches in localities with a higher presence of people from Jammu and Kashmir, advising citizens to immediately report unfamiliar faces or doubtful movement.
