Imphal, July 4 -- In one of the largest coordinated crackdowns on illegal weapon stockpiles in recent times, joint teams of Manipur Police, Assam Rifles, Indian Army, and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) carried out extensive search operations across four hill districts of Manipur, resulting in the recovery of a significant cache of arms, ammunition, and explosives.

Manipur Police today said the operations began last midnight and continued till today and were launched based on specific intelligence inputs indicating the concealment of warlike materials across various locations in Tengnoupal, Kangpokpi, Chandel, and Churachandpur districts.
