Lucknow, April 28 -- The drive launched by the Uttar Pradesh government to clear illegal encroachments and unrecognised religious structures in districts bordering Nepal continued on Monday, an official spokesman said here.

The spokesman said that special drives were conducted in Shravasti, Bahraich, Siddharthnagar, Lakhimpur Kheri and Maharajganj on the directives of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. "Illegal constructions were demolished in Shravasti and Bahraich, while in Siddharth Nagar, 12 illegal structures were identified and notices were issued.
