Chennai, Nov. 7 -- The Southern Railway today organised mass rendition ofNational Song Vande Mataram to mark 150 years of its anniversary.
Over 800 Officers and Staff of Southern Railway Headquarters enthusiasticallyparticipated in the mass rendition of the National Song.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the year-long nationwide commemorationof the National Song "Vande Mataram" in New Delhi, celebrating 150 years of thistimeless composition by Bankim Chandra Chatterji which inspired India's freedommovement and continues to evoke national pride and unity.
