Los Angeles, May 23 -- Marvel's seminal heroes, the Avengers will unfortunately be assembling later than expected as Disney has delayed the next two massive instalments in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with 'Avengers: Doomsday' and 'Avengers: Secret Wars' both moving to new release dates as part of a sweeping shake-up of the studio's theatrical calendar.
'Avengers: Doomsday' will now land in UK cinemas on 18 December 2026, seven months after its previously announced debut of 1 May. Its follow-up, 'Avengers: Secret Wars', has similarly been bumped to 17 December 2027, having originally been pencilled in for 7 May, according to Variety.
