Los Angeles, Dec. 24 -- Marvel fans have plenty to celebrate as the first teaser for "Avengers: Doomsday" has officially been released.
On Tuesday, Marvel Entertainment unveiled the teaser on its YouTube channel, confirming the return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers / Captain America.
The teaser was initially screened in theatres alongside James Cameron's "Avatar: Fire and Ash" before being shared online for fans worldwide. The brief clip opens on a peaceful farm, where Steve Rogers is seen riding a motorcycle toward his home.
A soft piano version of the iconic Avengers theme plays in the background. He wears a blue helmet that subtly recalls his Captain America suit, and in one touching moment, he is shown holding a newborn baby.
