Hyderabad, Aug. 22 -- City-based Marut Drones has received DGCA type certification for its small-category surveillance drone, Skyswift 56.

Designed for covert reconnaissance, high-precision mapping, and law enforcement, the quadcopter supports multiple payloads including FPV, 4K and thermal imaging cameras.

CEO and Co-founder Prem Kumar Vislawath said the ultra-portable drone can be deployed in under two minutes, boosting emergency response and cutting operational costs. He added that the drone aims to empower frontline personnel with advanced surveillance tools while also contributing to India's growing demand for over one lakh skilled drone pilots.
