Sydney, Jan. 1 -- Australia announced a provisional 15-member squad for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 to be held in Sri Lanka and India, with Mitchell Marsh named captain and several senior players returning to the set-up.
According to the International Cricket Council (ICC) website, Pat Cummins, Cameron Green, and Cooper Connolly have all been recalled after missing the recent T20 series against India, as selectors leaned towards experience and versatility for subcontinental conditions.
The squad also marks a clear tilt towards spin, with Adam Zampa supported by Matthew Kuhnemann, Connolly, and spin-capable all-rounders Glenn Maxwell and Matthew Short.
