Hyderabad, Feb. 6 -- Former Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya on Friday stressed that market access is the key driver for the growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), observing that production alone is insufficient in today's interconnected global economy.
He was delivering the special chief guest address at the MSME Marketing Conclave organised by the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) Limited, in association with PETSIA and the Jeedimetla Industries Association (JIA), at Jeedimetla.
Dattatreya said MSMEs form the backbone of India's economic mission by generating large-scale employment, prompting both the Centre and state governments to roll out several initiatives to strengthen the sector.
