Munger, March 19 -- Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary Thursday announced that a Marine Drive will be constructed from Safiyabad in Munger district to Bhagalpur at an estimated cost of around Rs 10,000 crore.
Addressing a public meeting at Safiyabad airstrip during Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's "Samriddhi Yatra" in Munger, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the state government is undertaking several major infrastructure and tourism projects to accelerate development. He said the proposed Marine Drive along the Ganga will significantly boost connectivity and tourism in the region.
