Aurangabad, Nov. 28 -- The Marathwada region of Maharashtra recorded 52 fresh cases of COVID-19 and two more virus related deaths during the past 24 hours, health authorities informed on Sunday. The district headquarters report stated that out of the eight districts in the region Aurangabad was worst-affected with nine cases and two deaths, followed by Beed and Latur which had 12 cases each, Osmanabad had eight cases, Jalna had seven cases, Nanded and Parbhani had two cases each and Hingoli had no case. Meanwhile, during the past 24 hours, 889 fresh cases of COVID-19 were recorded across the state, taking the total number of infections to 66,33,612.
