Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Sept. 12 -- The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar division has recorded a 9 per cent deficit in monsoon rainfall this season, according to the daily district-wise report.
While the overall division received 618.5 millimetres against the normal 679.5 millimetres, only Nanded district marginally surpassed its seasonal expectation.
Nanded reported 874.7 millimetres of rain from June to today, achieving 107.4 per cent of its 814.4-millimetre normal. Hingoli followed close behind with 774.9 millimetres, or 97.4 per cent of its 795.3-millimetre normal, and Jalna received 582.6 millimetres, which is 96.6 per cent of its 603.1-millimetre normal.
