Ch. Sambhajinagar, Sept. 5 -- Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar recorded deficient rainfall in September across all eight districts of the Marathwada division despite receiving above normal precipitation during the June-August monsoon period, officials said.
The region received only 19.2 mm rainfall against the normal of 27.7 mm during September, recording 69.3 per cent of normal precipitation.
During June-August, the division performed well with 581.8 mm rainfall against the normal of 513.5 mm, achieving 113.3 per cent of normal precipitation. District-wise data shows Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar recorded 77.3 per cent of normal September rainfall, Jalna achieved 123.6 per cent, while Beed and Latur recorded poor performances at 27.9 per cent and 2...
