Ch. Sambhajinagar, Sept. 11 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast the return of heavy showers to the Marathwada region, issuing a yellow alert for thunderstorms across all eight districts.
The weather department predicts light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thundershowers and gusty winds reaching 30 to 40 kilometres per hour from today onwards as monsoon conditions intensify over Maharashtra.
A yellow alert for thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds is in effect at isolated places in Parbhani, Hingoli, Nanded, Latur, and Dharashiv districts today.
Chhatrapati, Sambhajinagar, Jalna, and Beed districts will also experience light to moderate rain with thunderstorms at isolated places.
