Ch. Sambhajinagar, Sept. 22 -- Continuous heavy rainfall across various districts of Maharashtra has plunged farmers into a serious crisis, with extensive damage reported across Vidarbha, Marathwada and western Maharashtra regions.
The affected areas include Sangli, Satara, Beed, Hingoli, Latur, Dharashiv, Solapur and Ahmednagar districts where water accumulation in fields has caused severe damage to multiple crops including bali raja. Farmers who cultivated their lands using loans now face complete devastation and are seeking immediate assistance from the government.
