Ranchi, Dec. 17 -- : Jharkhand BJP president and Leader of the Opposition Babulal Marandi on Wednesday accused the Congress of misleading the public on the National Herald case, claiming the recent Rouse Avenue Court order did not amount to a clean chit for Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi.

Addressing the media, Marandi said the Congress protest over the issue reflected an attempt to divert attention from the legal proceedings. He maintained that the court had only observed that no FIR had been registered at this stage, while keeping the matter under consideration and allowing the trial to continue.
