Ranchi, Dec. 10 -- Jharkhand BJP president and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi has renewed his attack on the state government over the alleged liquor scam, accusing Chief Minister Hemant Soren of trying to shield himself by shifting blame onto officials.
Marandi questioned how JSBCL (Jharkhand State Beverages Corporation Limited) awarded liquor supply work to a company without any agreement, allegedly in violation of established rules and procedures. He demanded that the government must clarify "on whose instructions" such a decision was taken.
