Raipur, July 15 -- Maoist insurgents in Chhattisgarh killed two education volunteers (Shiksha Doots) in separate incidents across Bijapur district and destroyed a telecommunications tower in Narayanpur district, officials confirmed today.
The attacks mark a concerning tactical shift as security forces intensify counterinsurgency operations in the region.
According to police reports, armed Maoists abducted Vinod Made, a government appointed education volunteer, from Pailur village before executing him in a nearby forest. In a similar attack under Farsegarh police jurisdiction, another educator was forcibly taken from Tekameta village and killed.
