Thiruvananthapuram, Jan. 2 -- : Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Friday said that Mannathu Padmanabhan played a decisive role in shaping modern Kerala by spearheading organised struggles against caste discrimination, social inequalities, and regressive practices.
In a message marking Mannam Jayanthi, the Chief Minister said the contributions of Mannathu Padmanabhan, a towering figure of the Kerala renaissance, remain deeply relevant even today.
He noted that Padmanabhan was among the key leaders who strengthened the social reform movement and transformed it into a powerful force for change.
