Imphal, Dec. 21 -- Manipur Police and Security Forces carried out a series of coordinated operations across the State on Saturday, leading to the arrest of several individuals, seizure of drugs and illicit liquor, and destruction of poppy plantations.
In one operation, Manipur Police arrested an active cadre of a banned outfit from the Kakching Lamkhai area under Kakching Police Station in Kakching district.
In another operation on the same day, Security Forces arrested an individual from the Naka Check Post area under the Tengnoupal Police Station in Tengnoupal district.
