Imphal, July 5 -- Security forces carried out extensive search operations and area domination drills across multiple vulnerable and fringe zones in Manipur. The coordinated efforts carried out yesterday led to the seizure of a large cache of arms, ammunition, and explosive materials, underscoring ongoing militant threats and the government's intensified crackdown during the last 24 hours, police today said. In Imphal East district, a significant haul was recovered from the foothills and adjoining areas of Chingkhei Ching hill under Porompat Police Station.
