Imphal, Jan. 13 -- Calling upon students to become attentive learners, Manipur State Commission for Women (MSCW) Chairperson Thumlip Tiningpham Monsang on Tuesday said that "good listeners are good learners" and urged them to take the sessions seriously as the knowledge gained would be essential in their lives.
She was speaking at a one-day capacity building programme on "Empowerment Through Education & Legal Literacy" organised by MSCW at the DM Community College Hall, DM College of Science, Imphal.
Monsang spoke about the pivotal role of the Commission as a platform for addressing issues faced by women and highlighted that MSCW was established in 2006 to safeguard the rights of women and promote their empowerment.
