Imphal, Jan. 9 -- Manipur police and security forces carried out intensive operations across the state on Thursday, resulting in the recovery of a large cache of arms and ammunition, the arrest of militants and smugglers, the seizure of illicit liquor, and the destruction of poppy cultivation farms.
Security Forces recovered a substantial quantity of arms and ammunition from the Songjang (Pakang) area under Kangpokpi Police Station in Kangpokpi district.
