Imphal, June 16 -- Two crew members who died in the plane crash at Ahmedabad on June 12 will be brought to Manipur, Chief Secretary PK Singh said today.
The victims, both young women - Kongbrailatpam Nganthoi Sharma aged 22 and Lamnunthem Singson, aged 28 - had dedicated themselves in service to the skies and were symbols of aspiration, courage and grace, the XS said.
"Their sudden passing has not only plunged their families and loved ones into grief but has also sent a wave of mourning across the entire state. The Government of Manipur stands in deep solidarity with the bereaved families in this hour of immeasurable pain and loss," he added.
