Imphal, Nov. 23 -- Manipur Police and Central security forces continued their intensified crackdown on armed groups, extortion networks, and illegal poppy cultivation across the state, leading to significant recoveries and multiple arrests.
Police recovered a .38 pistol with two live rounds from the Heirangoithong bridge area under Singjamei Police Station, Imphal West on Saturday. The weapon was found concealed near the spot and seized during a routine area domination exercise.
