Imphal, Feb. 4 -- Manipur police and security personnel nabbed seven suspected militants and recovered arms on Monday.
Police said one AK-47 rifle along with a loaded magazine, a mortar, an SMG Carbine along with two empty magazines, a 9mm pistol, a hand grenade without detonators, IED explosives, and 20 explosive gelatine sticks were recovered from Phougakchao Mamang Leikai, Bishnupur District.
Police in another incident recovered a 9mm Pistol with a magazine and an AK-47 with magazine from COB Larong in general area Duthang Laiching track under Tengnoupal-PS, Tengnoupal District.
In yet another incident, 4 kg of IED and 2 kg of IED were recovered from Moirangpurel Khunou Leikai under Thoubal Dam-PS, Imphal East District.
