Imphal, March 10 -- Manipur Police arrested 16 militants in different operations in Imphal West and Imphal East, police said on Monday.
Manipur Police arrested five active cadres of the NRFM organisation from Gandhi Avenue, Thangal Bazar, under City-PS, Imphal West District, during operations during the last 24 hours.
Another cadre of the same outfit was nabbed by Manipur Police from Golapati Masjid Achouba Awang Leirak under Porompat-PS, Imphal East District.
In another operation, Manipur Police arrested two active cadres of PREPAK (Pro) from Khongman Nandeibam Leikai under Irilbung-PS, Imphal East District.
