Imphal, July 22 -- Deputy Commissioner Bishnupur, Pooja Elangbam, today visited a relief
camp set up in Takmu Water Sports Complex, Laisoi alongwith members of the ETA Foundation- "Aplatform that creates opportunities and safe space for women to share views and try new ideas".
Pooja Elangbam interacted with Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and addressed their concerns.
She highlighted various welfare initiatives undertaken by the Government for the benefit of IDPs, especially focusing on recent developments regarding resettlement and rehabilitation.
Pooja also urged the IDPs to make full use of welfare schemes available across key sectors such as education and health.
