Imphal, March 30 -- In a significant step towards rehabilitation and self-reliance, the Deputy Commissioner of Bishnupur, Pooja Elangbam, led a distribution programme providing livelihood equipment and resources to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd..

As part of the initiative, a variety of tools and resources were distributed to beneficiaries to support income generation and skill development. These included 10 looms, 10 sewing machines, five popcorn-making machines, 500 chicks, 500 ducklings, and 20 bags of poultry feed.
