Imphal, March 23 -- Dr. Angomcha Bimol Akoijam, Member of Parliament and Chairperson of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) reviewed various government schemes taken up in Imphal East district on Sunday at Imphal East DC Office Complex, Porompat.
Reviewing the progress of the initiatives, Chairperson Dr Bimol along with Th Lokeshwar MLA reiterated the need to hold DISHA meetings every quarter. Bimol said such a meeting serves two key purposes, facilitating stock trading and enhancing coordination among various government departments in Manipur. He further said the DISHA meeting should not become a mere formality but should be conducted at least four times every financial year.
