Imphal, Aug. 1 -- In a landmark move towards improving rural water access, the District Administration of Tamenglong, in partnership with the District Water & Sanitation Mission
(DWSM), officially launched the first-ever "Drink From Tap Mission" at Akhui Village today.
The initiative aims to provide clean, safe drinking water directly to every household-an unprecedented step in Manipur's rural sanitation efforts.
Akhui Village, located 15 kilometers from the district headquarters and widely recognized as
one of the cleanest villages in Tamenglong District, has become the first village in Manipur
