Imphal, Oct. 17 -- The Directorate of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution (CAF&PD), Government of Manipur, has issued a strong warning against the illegal sale of petrol by unauthorised individuals.
The illegal sale involves petrol being sold in bottles and jerry cans along the roadside and in residential areas after the closure of fuel pumps.
According to Director (CAF&PD) Bono Singh, the department has received reports that individuals are selling petrol near fuel stations and in residential localities, which poses serious safety and legal concerns.
